It's starting to get real cold...I hope these folks pull thru OK.....I for one am very glad Bloomberg pulled the generators...[sorry Lori]..I've been imaging a hand full of gensets and dozens or more extension cords going to electric heaters in the tents, that is one serious fire hazard especially if the cords are real long and undersized. Several years ago, I was looking to put a boat into the 79th ST. Boat Basin and was told I could heat with propane,fueloil,diesel,coal,wood,etc..anything except electric because they've had experiances with power cords over heating....It's good to see people fighting the "good fight"....wheather It accomplishes anything,we'll have to wait and see.
