Because of my schedule running the print shop other than the initial traing classes in welding I was working alone at odd hours so did not see either PAt or the other students much when In the studio.
After redoing the same work over and over abouyt five or six times I was frustrated enough to stop trying thinking someone was just not respecting what I was doing andknocking it apart.
It neve occurred to me that PAt was doing it in an effort to show that the work was not stable.
However he was thiking in terms of an all metal sculpture while I was thinking armature on which to build.
I suppose had I drawn up something firsthat explained what I was trying to do he might not have done what he did and might have made some suggestions on how to accomplish what I wanted.
Instead I stopped trying because it was an apparent waste of time and when he finally told me what was going on it was too late togo on.

But it did teach me not to assume things were always as they seemed to be so not a negative experience other than that it caused me to stop with the course.
