Can't tell you where to look Howie but it was in the newspapers ( we all remember them of course ) and on the national news when it was up for a vote , which was quite a whie ago now.
Could be searching the state statutes would turn it up but having tried that in my own state I know it's almost impossible to find anything unless you know the numbers to cite in the search.
I don't even know what the title of the law would be or how to come up with a successful search phrase to use.

I remember Harry mentioned it here once and I remembered the news coverage when he was talking about it.

The decision was hailed as a blow for personal freedom at the time.

Now the law goes way back to colonial times I believe so maybe it can be traced from back then till the legislative act that kept it from being repealed.
