Sorry to hear of Johns illness Kathleen , I was in the middle years so did not know him but I believe he posted here at least once so some of the students and faculty might have gotten in touch with him a while back. Some of the students from the early years have also posted here over the years.
You might want to try getting in touch with the Facebook group for FC which seems to be where most of the alumnii activity is these days.
I am sure I spek for the entire group by saying we extend our deepest sympathies and to tell him that even in the later years his name was often remembered and he was deeply appreciated for helping to make the college viable in the beginning.
