Yeah Harleys have gotten rather steep priced these days though the smaller bikes are still reasonable the top of the line is way up there and with custom add ons they can be even higher than that.
Glides always remind me of when we went into NYC to pick up my sister from her college in the villiage and her then boyfriend followed us back on his rice burner over the Pulaski skyway staying in the protection of the calm air pocket behind the station wagon. There was a balck couple on a Glde , full dressed , who were both rather hefty who were struggling with the wind conditions till we came along and they fell into the caravan along with our bike rider and it really helped them get through. When we got off the skyway we stopped to let the bike riders rest from the struggle and they were very appreciative that we had come along when we did. There was a lot of weight with that full dress glide but they were being tossed about by the cross winds..... Don't bike on the skyway.... bad scene.
