You forget , morris hills , makes me a ridge runner not a flatlander like those people down below the watchung range.
Near Morristonwn in the twp where applejack was invented.

Yeah so it's only about 335 ft above sea level here but the high point ( High Point ) is only just above 1000 feet so no mountain men here no matter what them bikers may claim up in the Iron Hills.
Having spent some time in the north country as well as at laest passing through the rockies, sierras , and so forth I KNow real mountains as well as real flatlands like FLA where the high point is th dump in Broward I believe.

Off rant....

Turkey day at my nieces in another part of the hills today. her area reminds me of parts of upstate ( above albany ) NY and NH and VT where there are rolling hills and lots of trees. They moved from the great meadows last year , used to live close to where Stan Balzan grew up in Alphano just down the road but on the edge of the meadows proper just like his family farm.
If you passed their old road you went down through a cut to the river that reminded me a lot of parts of NH with lots of rock outcrops and small cliffsides in a woods setting. Almost eerie the first time I missed the road and though I had somehow gone back in time...

Gotta refresh my memory on how to find their house because there are no signs for side roads i their area which is more hill country and very like central VT without the big mountains..
Have a good one.
