Hello to all my Franconia Collge friends,

I had a wonderful time during my trip to New England and drove over thousand miles.

I met up with Eric in the Big Apple. We visited with my friend Joe at his studio on Saturday, the 3rd of May. Joe is a highly successful toy deigner. Joe and Eric both grew up in the City and had much to talk about and became friends as I knew they would.

On Sunday, I went to a "Waushakum Live Steam" meet in Holliston, MA. I rode on a riding-car pulled by a 1/8 scale steam locomotive, What a Hoot and Toot! My 4-4-0 locomotive is not ready for the rails yet.

On Tuesday, I met with the owner of Sevens & Elans. I bought my Lotus Seven from Chris back in 1987. I ordered a new, complete rear disk brake assembly to replace the original rear drum brakes on my Seven. The front end came with disk brakes.

Wednesday, I met up with Howie for lunch in Exeter, NH. I truely enjoyed hearing what Howie had been up to over the past 41 years. Of his many accomplishments was that he became a talented electronics engineer and rally car race driver. We became instant friends. "I hope to see you again, real soon, Howie"!

Over the course of the week long trip I did many other things. I stayed with differrnt family members each night of my trip. The furthest north I ventured was to my sister Jane's house on top of a small mountain in Gilford, NH. That night she and I watched the Bruins beat the Canadians in Overtime. Go Bruins!!!

I visited with 4 friends and 20 close relitives, ranging in age from 4 to 80, and made several new friends a long the way.

I ended my visits Saturday by having lunch in Wallingford, CT with my son Rob and my grand-daughter Johanna. She is 14, taller than I am, smart, beautiful and a talented dancer. Rob, is doing very well, he is 44 years old. When I graduated he was a 3 year old student at Franconia College's Nursery School.

After a high speed drive in my Ford Ranger (not a VW Hippy Bus) I made it home. "Sorry Craig, on my way up I must have driven my truck too fast by your house to see you! We need to get together for a pint of Cheer! Call me".

"You too Bill, call me. If it would make it easier for you and I to get together I would drive to your area in New Jersey for lunch".

Time to rest up! However, I would definitely love to attend a 2015 Franconia Collge reunion, and if I can help out with the planning or set-up I will.

Robert
