Thanks Howie for this perspective on the reunion. I do think we still have a few non Facebook people who drop in here from time to time though regular postings seem to have fallen off greatly in the last few years. I did recently get on Facebook in time to be involved with getting to the reunion . I can see why some people do not use it because it can take up a lot of your time if you allow that to happen but in this case it also lets us see many images of the reunion we would not have been involved with so there are both plus and minus aspects to getting involved.

Sorry I missed getting to the homestead , would have liked to have met Allan's sister and gone to that yard sale for both nostalgia and maybe to get something to remember spoons by other than pictures shared from others from FC.

I did get into Polly's that morning alone at the end of the counter so missed the group who went there then went to the Maplewood to meet up with others and talk for a while before the group picture. It will be interesting if that is posted on Facebook to see how well ' tagging " peoples images goes as there have been problems tagging one of the 69 graduating class pictures while people try to identify those in the photo.

Yes Wicked Smart was supposed to be at the dance but apparently the booking agent screwed things up and they were booked elsewhere so the band that came was not whom we were expecting though that was known before the dance night just not passed about for everyone to be aware of. The band was ok but the ballroom was not well enough ventilated as you say so when the band began to play that coincided with when most of the group decided it was time to go out and cool down. Not sure who decided to dance but had to go to Franconia to check into the second motel I stayed at then back in time to see the band was done for the night.

2020 is the next big reunion to be planned and to expect to attend so any non Facebook people think about it and plan for being there.
