Yes, those credentials are Larry 'Lunchpail' Lemmel's. The CFC was a trope on an idea of Greenway's that was expressed at FC in the "upper division." I did the kind of independent study, under the oversight and evaluation of an FC faculty advisor and with the mentorshio of people actively working in the field - in my case, the Occupational therapy department at Crotched Mountain, and latter the headmaster of the Fayerweather Street School in Cambridge, and the Director of The Cambridge Free School, and the collective faculty of the Satya Community School in Lincoiln, MA.

Larry recruited FC graduate Frank Sweetser as his assistant, and ended not only not paying Frank what he owed him, but in fact, borrowing money from Frank to sustain the effort, which eventually he ended up spinning off to someone else - and I believe closing.

Larry was a likable schlub. Definitely not the sharpest pencil in the box, although he must have had enough talent to get adrmitted to those rather selective schools. He played clarinet - not by any means my favorite instrument. I saw him years later at a conference for teenagers in NH where I was teaching woodworking. I can't remember what he was offering, but I do remember he was inviting teenage boys to come to his room for massages - which gave me the creeps, justifiably or otherwise...

He was a horrible President for FC, wholly unqualified, picked mainly for his willingness to be ruled by the Board of Trustees. He presided over FC's slide into mediocrity and prepared the ground for Leon, who promised to reverse that trend, but in fact only accelerated it, and laid the groundwork for its eventual collapse.
