Pride

for what Franconia was for what Franconia has become as we have matured. I have been blessed with the gift of new and renewed friendships, I have been told the truth when I needed to hear it most, I have been complimented even when it has made me terribly uncomfortable, I have read kind and generous words from even the most remote places in the WORLD, and I look forward to the friendly voices that I hear on the other end of my phone on occasion. And, I have been encouraged to keep up my health both mentally & physically through one of the most difficult years of my life. I have had so many offer me a new outlook on life in my 50’s, and I have been humbled, seen unbelievable generosity,
a great lust for life from many, requests for anonymity from some,
It constantly astounds me how so many people have reunited in peace & harmony once again after so, so many years. So many so very excited about the road ahead.
I have had renewed contact with Eileen Cowin, John & Karen Craig who graciously invited me to visit them anytime!, I have connected with Eric Williams as we both have NYC in common in personal ways. I have shared hopes and dreams and bad times with a few new friends that I would never have guessed I would have connected with.I have shared crazy laughter and great recipes,photos of people's grandchildren!!
Just think: Hundreds of people are in the process of dreaming and sharing a dream…how AMAZING is that? How uplifting.
My memories of the college will remain heartwarming & crazy and a little fuzzy at times, but those memories still ring true today. The “connection” is still there and that’s pretty astounding after all of these years! I am so proud of everyone – Sometimes I feel like I’m in heaven! I am truly a person that has been blessed by this.
Love to all – Happy Hannukah, Merry Christmas and ALL……..
THAT…….JAZZ. Keep the faith and trust that the New Year will bring us all even closer to next August!!!
