I do drop back in occassionally and I do believe I would have loved this college. I majored in graphic design and was with a group of great future artists. I went to a small college in Virginia and there were not that many of us in the graphic arts program. We hung out together and had some great parties. We were all dedicated to our field and were having a ball. This was back in the late 60's and early 70's. The drama department was in our building so I got to hang out with some other talented people. It was a great time. I was especially thankful that I got to take photography classes under Richard Huff who I considered to be way ahead of his time. Unfortunately he got into the drugs over in Europe and died from an overdose. I also was thankful I was able to take a few classes with Myron Brody and John Brust. Throughout all of my life as an artist I can say I thank them for what I learned and still practice today. It was a tough curriculum and they were all hard on us but I learned a lot. I use to date an artist who was friends with a then famous Russian artist named George Slanovich (I think that was his name not sure of spelling) I remember going to a party at his house and having a ball. I thought I was someone special because I was there. It truly was a great time.
