Subject: Senator Ted Kennedy

I recall the day that Senator Kennedy and his son Patrick came to Franconia to inaugurate the Robert Frost House. The ceremony was held at the Town hall. The first poet in residence was Katha Pollit. Also, Maria Shriver came to Franconia to campaign for her dad when he was running for President. And how could I forget that we had a special banquet for Maria Biddle Duke's father who was the head of Protocol for the Kennedy administration. I could on with the Kennedy connections, but I won't.
