Gee Nan either no one can remember back that far, can no longer remember their first date ( or is deliberately trying to forget it ) or cannot remember the songs.....

As a point of information by " first date " are we talking first real formal dating experience , first on your own; one on one experience sometimes refered to as a date, or the first time you had something going on with someone else that might be called a date if the definition was stretched a bit..

Firrst formal date was either a graduation prom ( grammar school too formal and music probably not worth mentioning unless you are into ballroom dancing ) or a movie date before high school ( can't remember the movie but DO remember the girl and the car breaking down while driving her home ( not me driving yet ) . First one on one informal dating experience probably something innocuous with the radio playing in the car as the only musical portion most likely soul and R&B maybe some mathes or even early brit rock invasion, or maybe it was that time down in FLA with Cindy G the hot blonde with the braces still in place before I had a license.... hmm lots of then current music that are now probably golden oldies ......

The mind boggles
