Like I said SH ...

No kids came to bother me yesterday and Kit the little doggy slept through almost all of it and didn't even bark once , might have been the gloomy weather which might go away today.

We used to do the all out Halloween since My mom was the local kindergarten teacher for 35 years and knew all of the kids in town as well as all of their kids who were still here as well.
That stopped when dad became a kidney patient though. He had a good run after that till the stroke .
Never got back into it but thinking maybe next yar if things turn around a bit.

Today is the day of the dead , remember all your deceased loved ones.
