Laurie had a deep and gentle spirit. Below is a Youtube link with Laurie singing and playing fiddle.

It's such an odd species of poignancy to remember her at 18 learning fiddle from Karl Petrovich, then skipping ahead 25 years at the reunions and in Connecticut as a grandmother, and now she's gone.
