His obit appeared in the North Pinellas (FLA) Times on May 4th, 1990. "Thibodeau, Kevin Brent,42, of St. Petersburg, died Monday (April 30, 1990) at is residence of complications from HIV infection. He was born in Bennington, Vt. and came here in 1979. He was an architectural designer and creator of a foundation to provide grants for projects involving gays and lesbians. He was a Unitarian. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Alfred and Patricia; two brothers, Joseph and David Keller; a sister, Carol Woodcock, all of Bennington, and a companion, Thomas Henkaline."

Thomas died in 1994. A grant was awarded in 2001 to build the Kenvin B. Thibodeau Resource Center in Tampa but I don't know the current status of the buildng.
