Since everything in the economy is so extremely topsy turvy (I know this full well) - there have to be kids out there suffering who cannot afford everything to help further their education - Maybe loans that they have to repay, but not much else - If the reuinions are "down the line" maybe the economy will have turned around by then and we will all have a little bit more moola to contribute to a reunion. I unfortunately do not have children, but I know so many friends struggling right now trying to help their college age children - Reunions are basically big parties and that's cool - I'm all for it - BUT...kids that are serious about their futures..it's not a party for them these days......I have a Domicican University student that has been living at my house for the past year now, going into senior year - she is worried every day - stressed to the max about money and she's a really good kid - a REALLY good kid. And let's not forget about all of the parents that are also stressed.... Are there service charges for the account where that whopping $700+ dollars is? It will dwindle away before our very eyes if we don't do something....
