I vote for the continued segregation of funds...because...

There are people who certainly want to gather in Franconia again.

A 2010 reunion would require a non-interest bearing checking account just like the one you have now, Ms. Melanie. Oh yeah, thank you for being the reunion banker for so many years. Job well done. Are you trying to step down? I feel you have earned the right to retire.

The financial endowment in the name of Franconia College is and should continue to be a wonderful idea. I realize Steven Konover made an outsized contribution of both time and money to start the endowment. Have you had an opportunity to chat with Steven Konover about the endowment? I must admit, other than one statement from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, way back in 2002, it has been quiet. So, how much does the Foundation require to make annual student grants?

I do not mean to disagree with Ned, however, both goals should be attained without compromising the other. So let's please continue this community meeting.

Melanie, will you be able to attend a gathering of Franconia-ites in 2010? Oh say, in the Summer of next year.
