I think there were some legitimate concerns about voter suppression in both the '00 and '04 elections especially in
Florida and Ohio where the antics of Katherine Harris and
Kenneth Blackwell were noteworthy. There is evidence to suggest that both of these people ergegiously violated the
powers of their respective offices for strictly partisan benefit.
