My favorite evaluation, which I still have, came from Pat Martelino (may he rest in peace). One semester I was pretty slack in sculpture class. His evaluation noted his disappointment at my lack of effort, but he passed me nonetheless, because, as he wrote, I had recently "married a statue-esque woman". How would that go over with a potential employer?
