... must be exhausting!

I'm willing to look with an open mind at the possibility that Obama is a crypto-Fascist tool whose mission is to co-opt whatever feeble "opposition" to authority exists in the US in order to move us more quickly towards 1984 (whenever that was).

The problem is, I don't see any evidence. You claim I - who I don't think can fairly be called an Obama "worshipper" - "refuse to see" his "lies."

Please point them out to me.

I certainly didn't "ignore" his track record and "paltry achievements." I recognize that he is not the most experienced President we've elected - but I conclude that that may be a good thing.

The actions he did take are mostly good, principled things. He bucked his Party Leadership to oppose the Iraq invasion, and he did it loudly and publicly - some would say "courageously." He voted against the confirmation of Justice Roberts, and spoke forcefully against it. he introduced legislation to change priorities and incentives for Aytou-makers to produce more efficient cars.

I agree that he hasn't stuck his neck out tot the extent that someone like Dennis Kucinich has, but of course, that is exactly what made him a viable candidate.

Truly democratic politics relies on the art of compromise, which has to mean "compromising" even on some of your "principles" in order to reach consensus. That's something I leaned (painfully) in Community Meeting. It's not easy for ideologues, but it's necessary to make government of bodies of divers "citizens" work.

If no "concentration camps" materialize within "150-200 days," am I authorized to return here and say "I told you so?"
