《星島日報》副刊四月有文章提及香包，這是部分原文：
「避疫散」是北京三○四醫院中醫科主任、醫學博士高飛先生參考中國古方和有關文獻，以「醫方易簡」所載的「闢瘟丹」為基礎，再結合個人經驗而研製，成品分：（一）個人佩戴用。（二）室內懸掛用兩種，嚴禁口服，孕婦忌用，呼吸敏感者亦不宜。藥方如下：
（一）佩戴用：蒼朮3g、生艾葉1.5g、白芷1.5g、甘松1g、細辛1g、鵝不食草1g、乳香1g、降香1g、檀香1g、冰片0.5g。
（二）室內懸掛用：蒼朮6g、生艾葉3g、白芷3g、甘松2g、細辛2g、鵝不食草2g、乳香2g、檀香2g、冰片0.5g。
朋友說藥方的藥物很便宜，在中藥鋪買藥後，可用攪拌機把中藥磨成粉狀，置於小布袋內，每12.5g裝入一袋，外層可再裝飾，然後掛在胸前，或懸置室內，功能解毒禦邪，可作為預防流感等吸吸道傳染病的輔助方法。每袋可使用十五天。
有一家公司依方炮製放入香袋，以每袋二十元的價錢出售，聽說銷路甚佳。
