in the US, only approved aero helmets are authorized for race use, which is limited to Bell, Troxel and the popular LG Prologue, as well as a couple others.

in England, there is no requirement, hence the aero carbon 'head fairings'

according the John Cobb, aero helmets do indeed work, but so does taping the holes in a standard helmet
