Subject: Stolen '03 LS Vortex & '01 Softride Classic TT from home in Pasadena 5/15

Yesterday, Thursday May 15th around 1pm our house in Altadena (above Pasadena) was broken into & the scumbags stole 2 bikes:

The Litespeed was a 61cm 2003 Vortex (standard titanium finish) w/Time Avant fork, Powertap 32H Aerohead rear wheel, Phil Wood 36h front hub w/Campy rim, full DA 9spd w/180mm cranks, Time criterium pedals (old style), Syncros carbon post & Syncros QR + a Pearl Izumi Flolite saddle (circa 1986). Has Ciussi SS bottle cages & a customized XLab rear bottle holder with black bottle cages & a Blackburn mini-pump. Black bar tape & yellow housing. A set of Profile aerobars with the flip-up pads was on it. Not exactly standard LS issued equipment.

The Softride was a medium frame, blue & red Classic TT, full DA, red aero fork with "Inland Inferno" lettering on sides, 650 wheels (missing the front), new 172.5 Powercranks w/antique Diadora pedals & full Syntace front end. Also has an Xlab rear bottle holder w/blue Profile bottle cages.

Both of these are rather unique & should be easily identifiable as they were not stock builds. Anyone with information is urged to contact Mike Opdahl at 626-798-4455 or email me at michaelopdahl@hotmail.com or contact the LA County Sherrif’s Dept (File #403-01349-0775-065) at 626-798-1131.

Thanks!
