Yes, Yes indeed. Canarsie is a sad sad place now. I was there from the mid 80's to the mid 90's, some of the best years of my life. Then it started turning into a shit hole, after Reverend Al Sharpton decided to march through there after that real estate bombing incident. I was told by my Mom how Canarsie at the time I was there was like East New York when she was younger, a nice Itaian/Jewish neighborhood. I couldn't believe that East New York at one time was like Canarsie, the sad thing now is that Canarsie is like East New York. Anyway the black trash have Canarsie now and theres nothing we can do now, except keep reading how crime just keeps getting badder every year.

By the late 80's Carnarise was already a shithole. I'm form Bayview and lived there from the late 60's until the mid 80's.
Canarsie went to the dogs in the early 80's. I think the Jamaicans and the other Carribean people are bringing it back up. They are taking it back from the Ameriecan blacks that wanted to turn it into an East NY or Brownsville.
The F**ing L train was the worse line in the late 80's. I still live in Brooklyn(a few miles from bayview) and I go to Carnarsie every week. I really think its coming back. It might not be white but its alright.

Yea real good!!! I went to see one of my friends that still lives in Canarsie. I went to the corner store to get a 6 pack of bud. I walk out of the store 2 DT's (Cop cars) pull up and start checking my pockets. I asked what did i do? They said i don't belong here. I told them no I grew up here,I belong here, they don't.
