i haven't watch it eather, but i have read revues and some other aticles, the movie was all over the croatian newspapers at the time, and i didn't get impresion that it was some remarcible achivement... to get nominated for oskar in foreign film category takes a realy, realy good film + intriging script for the american(and all over the world) audience(souch as the story of "ničija zemlja") and i think that "duga mračna noć" does not have ether one of that two caracteristcs...
but, i whish it good luch anyway...
