Date Posted: 09:02:33 07/16/04 Fri "At at age 18, Goran trained during peacetime for basic crowd control and as a paratrooper in the Yugoslavian People's Army. He ended up fighting in Slovenia when the Serbian forces led by Slobidan Milosevic attacked this now former province of Yugoslavia, planning to cleanse their Slavic homeland of "unwanted ethnicities," Croats being one of them." (Quote from biography) ???????????? Hello ???????? Nothing against GV, but that terrible Slovenian war he fought in lasted 10 days and was nearly bloodless. Also, it was not only the Serbs, but the entire Yugoslav Army that fought in Slovenia (or rather on its borders), including Croats, Macedonians, Bosnian Muslims, ethnic Albanians, you name it. So I wouldn't be surprised, if GV was actually fighting on the side of the YNA (AGAINST Slovenia). Also, in 1991 (the year of the war), the Yugoslav prime minister, Markovic, and the foreign minister, Lomcar, were both CROATS. So it would be great if you could spare us the clichees about monstrous Serbs and ethnic cleansing here. It's getting exhausting. (And NO, I am NOT a Serb, in case someone feels like jumping at me.)
