Seriously. The hooker thing was so bad.

The following week was great, though, when we're thinking, "Great, he's going to get fired for blowing off these sessions," and Romano comes in and just dismisses that counselling requirement. Loved that. And it was sort of necessary for there to be just a total switching of gears like that to pull that storyline out of its awful tailspin.

You know, I wouldn't mind seeing G.V. as sinister (as in The Deep End, but even more so) or maybe even sleazy (Practical Magic), but that self-loathing spineless funk he was in did nothing for me. (And, of course, the writers should be writing to please ME)
