From a very personal point of view I have to say......Welcome to Sarajevo.......At the time the armed forces entered into the conflict, I had a loved one serving in the British army, who was posted over there.........I read the letters that he sent me....and being from Britain I watched the story unfolding, over the young girl who was brought back to England........

Goran's personal involvement in the whole conflict and the fact that himself and his family came out unscathed really moved me when I saw his performance in the film........

It must have been very difficult for him not to overplay the emotion........he aquitted himself perfectly, he conveyed the emotions perfectly........and from what I was told in some letters I recieved.....he completely summed up the whole attitude of the people over there......

That film moved me to tears.......more than once.......It also moved the guy in the army to tears........and that must say something for the brilliant directing, acting and authenticity of some of the scenes....
