Subject: 196 Rockaway Parkway

I lived at 196 Rockaway Parkway from 1946 to 1960 and went to PS 219 and PS 252 Somer JHS. Across the street from my apartment was a big circular bank. Nearby was Goldring Motors, sand lots that later got filled in with buildings. The elevated trains of the New Lots line would screetch around the bend as they headed down Livonia Street. Contact me if you knew me or the area and the era.
