Subject: 1927 Rockaway Pkwy (TOMMY SHAUGHNESSY) NICKNAME: SHARKY

I am the daughter of Tommy Shaughnessy: Nickname Sharky. My dad passed away November 27, 1999. He came from a big family, they all lived in Canarsie, 1927 Rockaway Pkwy. My dad was a great guy and had a great personality. I would like to know if anyone out there remembers him. I remember being a kid and traveling with my dad back to Canarsie from Long Island. Going to see family and friends. Grabbing lunch at Grabsteins, Going to Baskin Robbins, down the block from his old house. Going by Canarsie Pier. He's gone but definitely not forgotten. I miss him alot. It would be great to hear from anyone that knew my dad. Take care.

My name is Elizabeth Parket. I lived at 1903 Rockaway Parkway and was the oldest of five girls. I graduated from PS 115 in 1950 and remember your family very well.

I knew your father very well I also knew Your uncle John the boxer your uncle Whitey,your uncle Lefty. I remember being a Police Officer on Staten Island and meeting your father on the pier in Staten Island where he worked as a long shoreman and talking about the old days. Lefty worked at the A&P back then if he is still alive he will remember me. We all had nicknames back then they would remember me as Sonny and I lived at 1370 Rockaway Parkway near the A&P.
