Devin, You are correct. Everyone needs to let Dave know how much they appreciate what he does. I know exactly what he is going through. It is supposed to be club ran. As it is every year there is a few people that do the work and a mass that do the complaining. This year some of the few got tired of it and moved on. Who is going to step up next year and take on the task of president?
Has anyone thanked any of the people that helped. Now that Jack and Jason have moved on Dave gets to do most of everything. He does get help from a few people Like Justin, Mike and Terry.
Jack was the one that raised the money for the club and the points fund for the last few years. How many people told Jack that thay appreciate him? I can say that I probally didn't. It is my understanding that There hasn't been enough tickets sold to come close to paying for the 4-wheeler. If there isn't enough tickets sold than the club has to come up with the difference, thus creating another expense that the club can't afford. Also means no points fund.
I wish that we were closer so we could be a larger part of the club, but that isn't feasible. If I did live closer and didn't make an effort to help maintain and prep the track and grounds, I don't think thay I could feel very good about showing up to race knowing that I didn't do my share.
Everybody needs to wake up and appreciate what is there and take care of it before it is gone. I would think that loosing half the officers and 6-8 cars would wake some people up but I guess not.

Thank You Dave for everything that you do and all the hard work that you put in every week. As I have said before if I can do anything to help just let me know. You shouldn't have to ask people face to face especially when there were commities set up to take care of these duties.
I think that the people that were on these commities and didn't fulfill their duties shouldn't have a say in the club or voting rights until they make good on some duties.
It's easy to sit at and say "I will do This and That" but doing is another thing. Everyone wants a say but noone wants to work.
