Subject: hugoton play day

4 cars showed up to hugotons play day today and everyone that drove liked it and felt comfortable on the track. to me the track is more of a 1/4 mile than a 3/8. top speed on john todds sr. radar gun was 77mph. top lap speed was 17.90. all we did was go up to the next gear. lots of room to race and the track was very smooth. hugotons asked us to consider racing there again after todays play day. they said they would pay out just like all the other classes do. everyone from liberal that ran the track said they would race there with out a doubt but we would need all the cars from garden and everywhere else to show up also. i personaly could only tell a small difference in speed at the end of the straights. i was told we were doing high 60s at gardens track. also the tops of the track there gradually sloped down hill so if you were to go off the top its no big deal as we all went off the top of the track today. so whats does everyone think and would any one actually go is what they are wanting to know. everyone from liberal is willing to go.
