Got this from microoutlaws.com...i believe this might be a good deal...look at how Emitt Hahn made the ASCS grow..and now they are national!

Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (April 3, 2007) – The American Small Car Series (ASCS2) has announced the addition of five special Sunday night cards of Micro Sprint racing action to Creek County Speedway's 2007 schedule in Sapulpa, OK, with three classes of Micros taking to the 1/4-mile clay oval on each occasion.

ASCS2, an offshoot of the nation's most prolific Sprint Car sanctioning body, the American Sprint Car Series, has been established to promote and build the Micro Sprint segment of auto racing throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding region.

"Many of our Sprint Car drivers of tomorrow are racing Micros today," according to ASCS President and founder Emmett Hahn. "It's a fun, affordable and competitive form of racing, and it's important to cultivate this form of racing." Each ASCS2 event will be comprised of three classes of cars including the 600cc Outlaws, Non-Wing and Restricted "A" Class. Passing points will be utilized to determine feature starting lineups at each event.

Creek County Speedway will host the series on a monthly basis, with the first event taking place on Sunday night, April 29. Ensuing events will occur on June 3, July 1, August 5 and September 2.

Talks are in progress with several additional tracks throughout the region for other potential ASCS2 dates.
