Not to defene or bash anyone. I don't think that the issue here is about having to buy a soft tire or running 50" on the rear. It is about the sudden changes in the rules after all the problems and discussions and then it being stated that the rules wouldn't be changed.
It doesn't matter if it is a series night or not it was stated that the rules wouldn't be changed again. So if all of the A' class cars in Amarillo run soft right rear tires, and 750cc motors there will be rule changes to accommodate them so they will come to that race. How about the guys on the east coast, can they run their 636cc motors?
Do you have to be someone special to have the rules changed so you will come and race. Let the Oklahoma Boys come for the big race, then see if they will be there to support Liberal or Garden city on a weekly basis. I just hope that everyone doesn't get pissed and not support Liberal, it sounds like Liberal is needing every car they can get to keep the track going. Oh yea the Okie boys will be there every week to make sure that the track makes it.
As far as car count goes I didn't see very many Garden City cars at their own practice. Do you think that maybe they aren't ready. Could be way they didn't make the Liberal pratice either.
If we are going to set up rules to run by than we need to stick to them. If not than you can expect to hear complaints. I bet that if any one ever recieved a traffic ticket for proceeding through a green light before stopping and running three complete circles around the car they would complain. Why? Because that wasn't the law or the rules.Let's use our heads. There is thousands of reasons why the rules should or shouldn't be changed. What it all comes down to is that if someone says that they won't be changed and they are than how can the members trust this person or persons. Make the racers mad and they won't support you. If changes need to be made then call a meeting and discuss it, don't just stab everyone in the back and expect them not to bleed.
