I had just typed a whole bunch of stuff then the power went off and then I forgot for a while. Anyway...

On charges, yes we have a lawsuit - no specific charges but I'm suing her insurance company, which is the only way it seems I can do this and get back the medical costs. Health care seems to be working all right as far as it can, and they're used to not being paid for a while when claims are involved. I haven't actually met the motorist, but a police report was filed.

I was signalling my turn, and even if responsibility is muddy in some sense, the right of way was mine whether or not I was.

I'm doing not too badly all things considered, but it is a real drag not being able to drive.
