Go for it. The Bummer isn't a bad looking set up. It gives you the appearance of a Hummer without the cost, and the fiberglass body will make the truck lighter, improving gas mileage and performance. Of course, if you have as much rust as you make it sound, the new body might actually be heavier than what you have now. :-)

Have you located the Bummer kits online recently? I had heard a while back that the Bummer kits are no longer available. However, Urban Gorilla makes a similar kit ( http://www.4x4bodies.com/ )with all of the body options found on the HMMWV (except up-armor), soft top, hard top, wagon, slant back, etc. Urban Gorilla uses steel bodies instead of fiberglass.
