 If you come back out here, I would highly recommend the San Juan Islands trip. Very beautiful. Make a 2 day trip out of it if you must. Another scenic trip that is not too far from Roy would be to take Hwy 410 up into Mt Rainier National Park. The scenery up there on a nice there is absolutely stunning.
