I own my first Dodge with the Caliber I bought last year. I am surprisingly very happy with it (I was hesitant to go with Dodge) and will probably go with Dodge again next time I buy.

The Magnum is a great car. Mechanically it's very similar to the Charger, and for a station wagon, it has great styling. I, personally would even consider a Pacifica.

A new Magnum for $1k under the current price? I say try to see if you can get a couple thousand more off, but if you can't, buy it anyway.
