Well, the blogger has an opinion and there is some merit in looking at the point she raises about the ambiguity which I think we all recognise exists in sexual relationships from time to time. Or sometimes as a permanent, integral part of a stable relationship. Goodness knows there's been enough said about Buffy and Spike in S6 and quite rightly so but it is appropriate I think to add in more of a debate about Willow's treatment of Tara. Irrespective of the views held by any one individual or potentially flawed attempts to guess the mind of the authors this sort of discussion has the potential to show ATPo at it's contemplative best.

By dint of personal experience I guess some posters' contributions in this regard might warrant particular attention and consideration but in the absence of such so far I find myself wondering if the lack of direct criticism of the spells of All The Way and Tabula Rasa so far is indicative of a reluctance to voice the view that life in the rose garden of sapphic love does not always guarantee the unassailable moral high ground.

I, of course, have no difficulty with the possible consequences to my personal life of expressing that opinion and my suspicion is that Joss views the storyline in a like manner. I could be wrong though, he might have an unresolved Jungian duality and Shadow Joss could be a misogynist. But I doubt it.
