They scrimped and saved just to do the ubervamp horde, using programmed agents like LotR.

Series ending, funds aren't unlimited...

A more plausable ending: Willow's spell using the Scythe: have an identical synthe appear in hands of the slayers in the hellmouth...

Not the little baseball girl at Bat--should have been shown slicing the next pitch in the gap, against the wall for a double... (a home run would be two corny).
