Subject: and the award goes to...

While viewing an episode of Angel season 3 earlier today, I was thinking about something.

Our heroes have foiled many plans and vanquished many evils throughout the course of Buffy and Angel, but of all of those, who does everyone think gets the award for Most Effective Villain?

This isn't a contest of favorites or most personable. I'm talking about which one has had the best laid evil plot, judging on the basis of ingenuity, scale of evil, and coming closest to succeeding.

Right now, probably because of viewing the episode, my vote lies with Sahjan. I mean, he's really productive, saw a threat to himself and jumped right on it. Flitting about through time, fabricating prophecies, pulling the wool over the whole AI team, and managing to cause all of them alot of hurt.

What's everybody else think?
