I was wondering how Rose knew about Locke's legs, but then I remembered he picked up her pill bottle in the airport & she saw him in the wheelchair.

I still don't see a reason to think the healing wouldn't last if they left. Or isn't that the point you were responding to?

Do you think Eko was speaking more broadly than about saving souls when he said what you quoted? I thought he just meant "saved" in the Christian sense.
