Subject: Censored?

Along the same line, I just watched "The Gift" on my DVDs for the first time. Wasn't there a line in Buffy's confrontation with Glory in which she says, "People once bowed down to Gods." That was just before she hit Glory with the hammer, and I always thought that it was a bit of Joss's atheism peeking through. Does anyone else remember that?
Is it possible that it was censored out for commercial reasons--not to mention, possibly, acquiesing to the religious right?
