She was actually working for an evil rogue group that was pretending to be CIA. She is slated to be on 7-9 episodes, maybe more. I kind of like Alias because it has the same long story arcs that I enjoyed on Buffy and Angel (in fact, the main Alias arc is going on five years now). Here is a link to an article
