Do demons have souls?

Personally, I think that they did. To me, having a soul did not equate to possessing some kind of conscience, moral superiority, or the aknowledgment of what HUMANS considered "good" or "evil". To me, possessing a soul meant that individual - whether he or she was human or some other being - had a personality. And also that being had the ability to make personal choices and was capable of any type of emotion. A souless being is nothing more than a zombie to me - something akin to the walking corpse of Joyce Summers that Dawn had brought back in BtVS's "Forever" (S5).

In the end, I found the whole schmiel about vampires and certain other demons being soulless very hard to buy.
