Character's name: Linyarlii
Character's age: 1200 tanyal, the unicornian term for a year, which is four month's long, so around 300 years old
Physical description: Linyarlii is about 1.5 yards tall at the shoulder, with a total height of about 2.5 yards. Long white hair covers her body. Very soft and fine on her back and head, it is almost fuzzy in its softness. Down around the legs, though, the hair is longer and covers the hooves in a slivery white sheet. Her mane and tail are exreamely long, about middway down her body, with braids and twists in it, along with flowers and occaisionally ribbons from young girls protected by her. Her mane and tail are white and silver, and when blown around in the wind, gives it a shimmering effect.
Demeanor: Linyarlii is a very shy creature, as many unicorns are with humans. She is drawn to young, women who are pure of heart and soul, and protects them from all harm, for every girl she encounters, is always in trouble or will be in the near future. Once her trust is earned, she is very kindly, and grandmotherly in some ways. She enjoys talking to her charges through physical touch of hand to horn - the only way she can speak with them.
Personal History: Linyarlii was born about 300 years ago to a dying race of creatures. Hunted for their horn, which held healing and purifying powers, many men killed off her people. Her mother gave birth to her, and as soon as she could run, her mother was killed by hunters. She never knew her father, more than likely killed by the humans so feared by her people. Since she was around 100 years old, she learned that the young girls whom she encountered were always in trouble or would be, and made a promise to herself that in her wanderings, she would help all who came to her.
