Frederick spoke loudly and authoritatively. Young Lord Cafall may be his superior in rank, but he lacked his experience. An inn, while being a place to stay, was not necessarily a safe place, and much more expensive than what he had in mind. "Lord Cafall, we are headed to the palace."

Frederick turned to all that had gathered, and spoke quickly. "Those of you who are capable healers, set to work on Mistress Cafall and Master Fravardin." He glanced to the rest of them, "Everyone else, be ready for anything."

Having remounted Swiftwind, he galloped alongside Blaise's mount, Einar, and placed a gauntleted hand on Angharad's brow. She saved him, and he owed her. He would watch after her, best he could. Einar snorted, and snapped at Frederick and Swiftwind, and they withdrew.

Frederick moved forward of the small envoy that had formed, keeping his eyes peeled, his banner flitting in the breeze. Glancing from side to side, he took stock in everything, having long since forgotten his wound. It didn't bother him, and he had had worse. He marshaled them towards the town's center, and to the palace...
