Frankly I don't think using the word Fag on a Christian website as a joke is appropriate. Maybe you shou,d think twice next time about the words that you use and how they reflect on your group. Poorly might I add.

I'm jsut saying that if you call yourself a Christian band you should play christian music. If HP thinks that they have to play Finch or Linkin Park to et fans because they think that maybe that is what they want to hear than maybe they should be playing secular music. I mean really are we trying to please God or the crowd? The ? here is not whether they play covers. I have no objection if they played Relient K, Bleach, Switchfoot, ect.. The purpose of a christian band is to worship God , not jsut to play songs that please the crowd. I jsut cannot see how those other songs worship and glorify God. If christian bands play secular music than by what classification are they Christian. For example "I try so hard and get so far but in the end it doesn't even matter." I don't know about you but that sends me a real positive message (sarcasm).

Ok, who does this "a christian girl" think she is???Thats a real good question...if u dont like the way High Pressure conducts things...then why dont u go start your own band the way u want to run things...God forbid a band plays a song that someone wants to hear...I play in the band "Didley Squat" and we play originals and covers and we are not a christian band....so how are u gonna critize us???And another thing , how do u think bands like Relient K and SwitchFoot got signed and got big?..They played songs that the people wanted to hear in gods name...but the music they write is dedicated to god....that doesnt hold them back from playin covers does it?...NO...i mean go to a relient k show...i bet u they play at least 2 covers...This is just my thoughts about ur message u posted...any questions or comments you can email me... slimjimcrawford@hotmail.com ...

if you are a christian girl, who are you to judge hp? really though, what is your deal with them. you like relient k, i take it.. sadie hawkins dance, in my cackie pants, there's nothin better. i'm telling you what.. that is positive to me, that is glorifing God. i guess this song means God isn't better than being at a dance in cackie pants and a sweater. why don't you go critisize them. geez.

alright now everyone chill out it's all good... No Worries. listen, We High Pressure, we play Christian songs... and we play GOOD Moral songs... we put it in Gods hands also... if he wants us to make it big and play to millions of people he will, if he wants us to play to hundreds or even just tens we will. we are doing this for God and he will lead our way... we don't play anything that would be taken offence purposely... if you take offence, we are sorry... to Christian Girl sorry for offending you... We play Linkin Park "in the end" because it has a meaning to me, Jake, and i EXPLAIN what it means to me when we played it... it has been since early summer since we have performed it anyways because we don't play many covers any more. "In The End" to me meant, and i explained at shows if you PAYED any attention, that if you live life WITHOUT God, that you can try so hard and get so far... but in the end it wouldn't matter... because WITHOUT God you can go no where, with God, you can go anywhere. Finch - "Ender" it is a Break Up song with a girl... and i'm really sorry if we CHRISTIANS are not allowed to fall in and out of love with Girls and Guys, we do have those emotions too... we ARE allowed to write LOVE songs... and if you actually listen to our love songs they may not mention God but before each song i explain that it is CHRISTIAN... "You Never Know" Talks about meeting that person you are going to marry, "you never know it might be you." is the chorus... meaning you don't know who you will marry GOD Has that person picked out for you!!! so We, High Pressure, are truely sorry to Offend you Christian Girl... We apologize for the word that was on this site, even though it was one person who did it... the Band will take full Responsibility for that action that was made... God is a forgiving God and all we can do is ask for his forgiveness... also like our song goes "I Cannot Change The Past All I Know Is That I'm Sorry" making sins in life will happen but God is forgiving.
