First and foremost I owe the band an apology, not b/c I don't believe in what I wrote, but I wrote it with the wrong intentions in mind. I was not judging the band (or at least that is not how I meant for it to be taken). My opinion was not based on one or two shows. I've been to more shows than I can count on my fingers and my toes and once maybe one of your friends. I've heard every word. Sometimes explainations are before the songs and sometimes they are not. I do not think that the songs that you play are bad. I think that each member has a talent that they can use to praise God. I was merely presenting an opinion that others have shared with me. I like Finch and L-park and I agree that their songs can be taken as revealing a positve..even spiritual message and yes Christians do have feelings and love. But they those bands are not "Christian bands" so I do not feel that they should be "mimicked" Christian bands. C-bands are in a category of there are and are not meant to be like any other. The are not meant to copy 'the things of this world.' Concerning the Relient K song-it is meant to be silly and not taken literally. It's like someone saying "Nothing is cooler than going to the beach, skiing, hanging out with friends,..." It is not meant to be taken literally. I apologize for such a ruckus. When the Greeks needed to share news, events and opinions with the town they shouted it from the rooftops in the forum. I must have been mistaken when I thought a forum was a place for people to explain and share their opinion with others. I guess it is nothing more than a place to shout out praises and admiration. Maybe you should call it something else.
